Well it’s very nearly here… the 2020 North East Contact Centre Awards!

At People Gauge, we are incredibly excited to be part of the NECCA, celebrating one of the most exciting and dynamic work environments we have in the UK. This year more than any other, we have seen the strength, flexibility and importance of this countries contact centres, acting, as always, as the effective and crucial customer facing side of businesses.
In the first few months of 2020, we saw the beginnings of a nationwide shift to alternative ways working in the face of a global pandemic. For many teams and businesses, this meant complete remote working for all employees, or where this was not possible, adapting their workspaces to accommodate for new safety regulations. Such adaptations included dividing teams and restructuring so team members work alternate days, as well as changes to operating hours.
People Gauge’s field is employee engagement, and over the last few months, we have been continually reviewing data and trends to see how these changes in ways of working have been affecting individuals, teams, and workplaces as a whole. It has been refreshing to see that the contact centre sector has shown great resilience to the circumstances they have faced.
It is for reasons like this that we are thrilled to be sponsoring the Engagement Award this year.
We can’t wait to congratulate all those shortlisted and the well-deserved winners of the awards when they come around in November (or whenever we are all finally allowed to get together to celebrate) .
