I am writing to introduce the North East Contact Centre Awards for 2020 – an opportunity for you to recognise and reward the hard work and commitment of your colleagues, especially relevant this year during the unprecedented challenge of coronavirus.
Vital services continue to be delivered by contact centres such as yours, in spite of massive disruption to staffing and normal operating practices. We believe the dedication and determination of all colleagues should be acknowledged and celebrated during the tough times, as much as any other. NECCA will be special this year as it will recognise the individuals, teams, and indeed entire contact centre operations who have successfully responded to the crisis.
The North East Contact Centre Awards have run for many years to honour world-class examples of service excellence and best practice across one of the region’s largest industry sectors and employer.
This year we have refreshed the brand, appointed a new team of independent judges, and revamped the categories with an emphasis on recognising individual talent and the unsung heroes at all levels – from frontline advisors to contact centre managers. The Awards are free to enter, and you can make nominations for as many categories as you like. Please circulate details to your colleagues.
Award Nominations are now open, with applications to be submitted by 5pm on 31 July.

The Gala Dinner & Awards Ceremony takes place on 20 November 2020 at Ramside Hall, Durham. Tickets are now available, so you can guarantee places for your organisation at this popular event.
