Following a survey of all shortlisted candidates, judges and our key partners / stakeholders, NECCA have decided to go ahead with an Online Awards Ceremony on 20 November, which replaces the Gala Dinner scheduled for the same date.
This online event will be held from 7pm - 8.30pm and hosted by Charlie Charlton from BBC Newcastle. Links to join the virtual ceremony will be shared widely across the industry, and our aim is to make this fully interactive with the participation of judges and our nominated finalists.
By popular demand, tickets booked for the dinner will now be transferred to 7 May 2021, when the NECCA “Spring Celebration” Event will recognise 2020 winners and launch our 2021 programme.
This Gala Dinner event will take place at Ramside Hall, hosted by the BBC’s Charlie Charlton.
