ONLINE AWARDS CEREMONY
Due to the ongoing impact of Covid-19 we have decided to run our 2020 Awards Ceremony as a live online broadcast on 20 November 2020.
This online event will be held from 7pm - 8.30pm and hosted by Charlie Charlton from BBC Newcastle.
The Awards will be broadcast live on our youtube channel, and we will be joined by shortlisted nominees as we hear the results!
We will kick off the evening with the Individual Stars categories, followed by Awesome Teams and finally Outstanding Organisations. Categories will be read out in the order displayed on our Shortlist page where you can also see a list of shortlisted nominees. View this here.
Although it is a shame we are not able to get together and drink and dance in traditional Friday night fashion, we will be aiming to make the night as fun as possible for everyone involved.
Keep your eyes peeled for our TikTok challenge asking shortlisted nominees from across the region to introduce themselves, and get involved in our Instagram red carpet competition on the evening of the event using #NECCARedCarpet. We have some great ideas on how you can celebrate in style from home in our blog post here.
